Tour to the archaeological park of Ercolano and Vesuvius departing from the island of Ischia

Herculaneum is the most famous archaeological site in the world as it preserves the most extraordinary example of life during the era of ancient Rome. The archaeological park is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site because it is the most important of the ancient cities which can still be visited today and seen in its maximum splendor despite having been lost together with Pompeii, Stabiae, Oplontis and Boscoreale, all buried with the eruption of Vesuvius.
After the visit to Herculaneum, the bus will take you in the direction of Vesuvius: the volcano well known for its eruption in 79 AD. which buried the cities of ancient Rome that were at its feet with an explosion of molten rock and pulverized pumice, at a speed of 1.5 million tons per second and with a height of 33 km developed thermal energy such that it was equal to the Hiroshima bomb.

Departure from Ischia at 07:10
Return from Naples at 7.00pm
(The arrival in Herculaneum is scheduled for 10.30 am while the departure from Ercolano for Vesuvius is scheduled for 1.50 pm. Return from Vesuvius to the port of Naples at 4.30 pm with arrival around 5.30 pm)

N.B. The transport time to and from the hotel must be added to the departure and return times.
